Frequently asked questions
If you can't find what you need here, the answer's usually in how it works on the home page.
How does the NFC card actually work?
The card has a small chip that any modern smartphone can read when it's held close — no tapping app icons, no Bluetooth pairing. It opens a short review page in the phone's browser, already loaded to your business.
Does the customer need to download an app?
No. Both iPhone and Android read NFC cards through the browser by default. There's nothing for the customer to install.
What happens if someone wants to leave a bad review?
A rating of 1-3 stars is offered the chance to let the business try to put things right, before their review is posted. The choice is theirs — they can still go straight to Google if they'd rather. A 4 or 5-star rating goes straight to your Google review page.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. The card itself is a one-off £39 purchase per card. There's an optional review management service at reviewengine.uk for businesses who want more than the card, but it isn't required.
How long does delivery take?
Cards are programmed to your business and shipped within 3 working days of your order.
Does it work with any Google Business Profile?
Yes. We just need the link to your existing Google Business Profile review page, and we programme the card to send customers straight there.
